X : Is there a certification scheme for Wardley Maps?
Me : Sure, I'll send you a "certificate" with the words "Simon says that it's ok for me to draw on pieces of paper".

How much would you like to pay? I was thinking ...
... the whole purpose of mapping is to allow people to communicate and challenge. As @CatSwetel would say "to democratise strategy" ... it's not about creating a new priesthood with people going "my map is better than yours, just look at the size of my certificate".
... it would be like "certification for chess". No-one cares about the certificate nor how many years "experience of playing chess" you have ... all that matters is :-

a) Do you understand the board?
b) How well do you play the game?
So rather than tick box exercises (which is what certificates would be in this case and yes, I know a lot of numpty managers would like this. Do you have the tick?), a better path forward is not barriers to entry but through leaderboards based upon competitive battles over maps.
i.e. something more akin to the rankings in chess. We will develop this over time but first we need to create the competitive scenarios to test / use / train against. I have no wish to encourage certificates or authoritarian bias or barriers to entry in mapping.
I've spent 30 years listening to people tell me how great they are at strategy because of their position or experience or certificates (MBA etc) whilst knowing they wouldn't last a few minutes against someone who was actually good in strategy. Eventually, we will expose this.
X : Some 3rd party will create a grading system for maps like six sigma belts.
Me : Let them. In the next few years, once we have a competitive leaderboard system up and running then your entire certification / belt system will go up in smoke if you can't win the battles.
... I spent six+ years training in judo with a former Greek champion. The only belt I had was white ... I never once graded, couldn't afford to. In competition, the only belt that mattered was the one left standing.
