Last year I wrote about women who were lynched. This was more common than most people, even historians, were aware. Often the wives of lynched men were also lynched. #MaryTurner was one of these. She was also eight months pregnant.

[TW] #MaryTurner was hog-tied and hung upside down by her ankles. Her clothes were drenched in gasoline and set on fire. Her abdomen was sliced open like an animal's at slaughter and her baby pulled from her body. She. Was. Still. Alive. (Though not for long.)
[TW] It was recorded at the time that the baby "gave two feeble cries" before it too was killed.
THAT IS LYNCHING.
The president is being held to the mandates of the US Constitution that he has violated. Not lynched.The sooner he is out of office, the sooner the country can heal.
