Mompha was wanted by the Interpol (International police) while he was in Dubai for a fraudulent transaction, he knows if he was apprehended by the Interpol in any other country it definitely won’t be easy to come out of that.
He is highly connected in Nigeria, down to the politicians that he allegedly launder money for so he came to Nigeria to give himself to the Interpol, they handed him over to the EFCC (at least that’s what would be in the records)
And he agreed to the crimes against him. The only reason he did that was to get the international police off his back and leave him to be arraigned by the Nigerian government.
The Nigerian government in which he is highly connected in and can easily manipulate.

You most probably won’t be hearing much of MOMPHA again, because after this, there’s high probability that he’ll be living happily ever after with his wife and kids far away from the gram. Still spending lavishly tho, Because the money plenty.
