2/ The far-right extremist confessed. His profile is not that different from the far-right young American #incels radicalized online by "professional" white nationalists.

3/ It's time to re-negotiate our "tolerance with intolerance". Karl Popper described it as the seemingly paradoxical idea that, "In order to maintain a tolerant society, the society must be intolerant of intolerance." And he was right.
4/ Popper wrote a 2 volume philosophical work defending the open society against its enemies and presenting a critique of historical determinism.
5/ We are seeing historical determinism fall apart in front of us. I recommend going back to the classics, as always (free download):
