The arguments against 370-abrogation get sillier by the day

An honest liberal argument can be -

Hey...we got lucky in 1947 in getting Kashmir

But the Muslims in the state don't feel comfortable being Indian

We can't undo what happened. So let's grant them autonomy
But that's never the way the argument is articulated by Indian liberals

There is instead talk of kashmIriyat - a bogus notion

There is also talk of Indian "brand" - again v silly
At least the conservative argument is intellectually consistent

It does not accept two nation theory in its foundation

Cites the presence of 200 MM muslims in India as a refutation of the theory

And regards Indian Kashmir too as integral to proving the theory wrong
At least that is the mainstream conservative position

There is the more radical Hindu-Right position (found on the fringes of twitter) which is more aggressive. Talks of eventual Ghar-wapsi of all Kashmiri Muslims or all Indian Muslims

But that's not the BJP line
If the liberal opinion indeed believes that muslim majority regions cannot possibly be a part of India, then it has to campaign for Kashmiri secession to Pakistan overtly

Not through covert, vague language as observed in the above tweet
