I couldn't be more thrilled by @RealDonaldTrump's announcement today that he intends to nominate Judge Andrew Brasher to the Eleventh Circuit.

38 years old, Brasher is currently a federal district judge in the Middle District of Alabama. He was nominated by @RealDonaldTrump to that seat in 2018 and confirmed this past May.

Judge Brasher is a graduate of Sanford Law School in Alabama (summa cum laude) and Harvard Law School (cum laude), where he was a member of the Harvard Law Review. Judge Brasher clerked for Judge William Pryor (also of the Eleventh Circuit)​.

Judge Brasher is a former Solicitor General of Alabama (2014-19) and before that Deputy Solicitor General (2011-14), where he litigated significant constitutional matters in federal court.

At the time of Judge Brasher's nomination to the district court, he had argued three case at SCOTUS, 17 cases at the Eleventh Circuit, and four cases at the Alabama Supreme Court.

The Eleventh Circuit is just one of many courts that @RealDonaldTrump is transforming across the country, and Judge Brasher will be a great addition. Upon Brasher's confirmation, President Trump will have nominated half of the active judges on that that court. Quite a feat.
