It's important to note: the Supreme Court isn't considering whether to end DACA, although that would be the end result of a bad ruling. They're considering whether to neuter the Administrative Procedure Act so Trump can kill DACA, which would have even bigger consequences.
The Administrative Procedure Act has been a MASSIVELY important tool in reining in this administration on everything from immigration cuts to environmental rollbacks to health care repeal to the Census.
Basically, it's the law that says Trump has to follow a public rulemaking process and back up his regulatory changes with study and data. He can't just change the law with a tweet, he can't ignore consumer and advocacy groups. He keeps losing in court because he breaks this law.
I doubt they'll explicitly say this, but expect what we're going to see over time is the right-wing justices ruling presidents can ignore this law when repealing regulations and programs, but not when creating them.
