Don’t ever leave any interview without asking questions! I interview mid/senior/executives all the time and people don’t ask relevant questions which showcase engagement. Don’t let this be you.
What is the company/team culture? What is the tenure of the team? Is this an expansion position or was someone promoted or resigned? If the previous person resigned, ask what improvements would you like to see within the role with the next individual?
What are the key objectives for the year and how would I help you achieve these? How can I assist and make your job easier? What is your managerial style? How do you handle conflict? How do you encourage and support your team? Are there opportunities to learn additional info?
The key 🔑 is to showcase critical thinking skills. Asking questions also gives you answers to decide if you want to pursue this opportunity. If turnover is high and managerial style is micromanagement is this really a place you want to work?
Remember interviewing isn’t only for the company. You have the same rights to know what you’re getting involved in. Don’t be afraid to ask pertinent questions with finesse. Now go rock that next interview! #30DaysofThreads #InterviewTips
