I condemn any threats or criminal harassment.

However, I won’t stop reporting because of how people might respond in the comments section online. The public should know when someone on a school board harbors views in support of violent extremism.
When it came time for Fortson to condemn the violent beating of me by movement they supports, they did not. Instead they shared a post which sought to make light of my traumatic brain injury, which nearly killed me.
After @ryanjhaas sent out tweet highlighting Fortson’s claims that my reporting allegedly made them a target of threats, I received this message below. Yet, it would be stupid for me to blame Haas for it. Journalists aren’t responsible for how people react to news.
