Good morning! Gordon Sondland is testifying today. And I’m anxiously waiting for the first A$AP Rocky mention.
Oh wait. Does that seem a bit out of the impeachment realm to you? It’s not. David Holmes testified last week that he overheard a convo between Sondland and Trump where they discussed getting A$AP out of jail in Sweden. There’s a Kardashian mention too!

In his opening statement, Sondland kinda bashes the Dems process as he criticizes the lack of transparency.
“We did not want to work with Giuliani,” Sondland clarifies he was working under the direction of President Trump in doing so.

Sondland’s “they made me do it” testimony now summarizes his official Ukraine ties to debunk any motion that he “muscled” his way in. There’s been lots of speculation that Sondland’s appointment came as a result of big donation he made to Trump.

Sondland, for the second time, says he was never made aware of why the security funds to be allocated to Ukraine were withheld.
Sondland, towards the end of his statement, is reading an excerpt from a Pompeo email that lauds Sondland's "great work" following the Warsaw trip.
We are now into the Q & A part of the hearing. Dems have the first 45 minutes and Schiff is doing the probing.
Sondland says he agrees with David Holmes' characterization of the phone call he overheard btwn Sondland and Trump, except for the mention of "Biden." Sondland said he knows now that a Burisma investigation would involve Biden, but he didn't initially which is self-exonerating

Asked about the President Zelensky "loves your ass" comment Holmes testified he overheard Sondland tell Trump over the phone during lunch in Ukraine, Sondland says that's how he and the president communicate, "a lot of three-letter words, in this case four letters."
"I never heard from President Trump that aid was conditioned on an announcement of elections," Sondland said after confirming that the meeting between the two presidential was, however, conditional.
So, this happened a few minutes ago.
Giuliani has since deleted this ⬆️ tweet.
