Warren is the candidate who understands what we're up against in the Senate. Biden and Buttigieg compromise too much. McConnell will destroy them. Sanders doesn't want to nuke the filibuster or pack SCOTUS, seems to think a movement will force centrist Dems to instantly back M4A.
Biden is especially out to lunch here. He seems to be stuck in what he considers the good old days of the chamber. Where it was a bunch of white dudes who disagreed on very little (even segregationists were welcome!) and what really mattered was keeping your cozy job for decades.
Buttigieg is not as naive, but he's so opportunistic -- can you trust him? He's already made a significant shift right. How much worse would that get in the general? Totally plays into the hands of the GOP, who never shift left. Trump and Co. haven't triangulated a millimeter.
Bernie can bring a mass movement to the streets (I don't doubt he will!), but Manchin/Sinema won't flinch on the way to voting no for M4A. Expand Medicare as much as you can on Day One, build a case like Canada did w/ Saskatchewan, weaken insurers, primary bad Dems, try full M4A.
From a skillful M4A transition plan to prioritizing anti-corruption and structural reform to how she talks about McConnell and the fight we're in -- sorry, I know Pete hates that F word -- it's clear she's the POTUS we need to overcome a counter-majoritarian Senate (and SCOTUS).
