“Not right in front of the cameras, it’s not on” says @DominicRaab to Harry Dunn’s father.

“It’s not on” is a strange phrase for Mr Raab to brandish against the Dunn family, given the horrors they’ve been put through.

Esher needs to turf Raab out.

Someone just flagged up that this statement by Raab might not have been directed at Harry Dunn’s father.

So I’m putting it here fwiw.

The other important aspects are the argument about the phone number -and the fact that Raab is keen to run rather than engage.
Most importantly, though it’s pretty obvious the Dunns do not feel the Foreign Sec has supported them or championed their cause.

Like with Boris Johnson and the Nazanin incident, the role of Foreign Sec seem to be more a stepping stone of power than a duty to British citizens.
Finally, to pivot back to the original charge... it’s more than rich of Raab to indignantly use the phase “it’s not on” - complete with finger-jab and then run away - when he’s got Harry Dunn’s father standing there.
