Mick Mulvaney pulled the Space Force cap onto his head and felt the band of the hat bite into his flesh. He felt a wave of nausea and regret as he flashed back over his entire life leading to this. His hand shook as he reached for the antacid, gulping down pill after pill. 
He could hear the grunting and snorting in the next room. The president was growing impatient and by now Mulvaney knew that letting him stew for much longer would result in an even tougher job in power washing the walls later. The room at Mar-a-Lago still smelled of cheese.
Mulvaney looked at the window and felt his heart thump as he considered escape. Maybe he could make it this time. Maybe he could pump his spindly little legs and get to the fence. Maybe Secret Service would take pity--
"Mulvaneyyy," Trump gurgled, the sound of spit in his lungs

Mulvaney felt flop sweat and he snapped back into reality. "You're a fool, Mick," he said to himself.
There was no escape. They were all on this island until damnation. The beast would endlessly feed on them, replacing what little humanity they had with his dark bile.
