The Doctors in Zimbabwe have shown exceptional clarity of thought and fiduciary duty.

It’s important to see the interrelatedness of things. Economics becomes political just as the political becomes economics.

The Doctor’s fight is for the good of all Zimbabweans/1
Let’s start with the introduction of bond notes and issuance of TB’s.

What if the bankers had refused to accept the bond notes and held true to their fiduciary duty. When the illiterate granny received money from her daughter in the UK and she banked it as savings/2
What was the bank’s responsibility when RBZ introduced bad money and stole the granny’s savings?

What of the clearly designated non tradable TB’s to the tune of $500m - that were offloaded and traded by the market. What if our investment community had stood up and said No/3
What if PSMAS a non- government institution had stood up and said NO to GOZ meddling in a private institution and had continued to invest in hospitals and drugs?

All medical savings were looted and directed to recurrent expenditure /4
What if NSSA was run properly and all workers stood their ground and demanded sound decisions. Eg NSSA investing in the expansion of hospitals and recapitalization of Varichem and Caps.

Instead NSSA invested in a white elephant hotel at a cost of $50m USD. Imagine/5
Our public health care system is in critical care. It cannot survive another hyperinflation tsunami.
It requires massive investment.

The doctors see a Zimbabwe building new airports, military staff college, parliament, command agriculture yet health system collapsing... /6
Surely our Doctors take seriously their fiduciary duty than our bankers et al. GOZ must provide a holistic solution to public health care. Trinkets and charity is NOT a solution.

I support the Doctors and their incredible foresight. I wish all professions would do the same.../6
