Better yet..
You need to make sure you are viewing it from the right lens.
"Everyone is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid."
THEN evaluate how proficient you are in your field.
We were taught intelligence is mainly defined by test scores.
But nope.
Not how it works in the real world.
So you need to learn the other forms of intelligence.
That allows the perspective to be stretched & decisions to be more strategic.
Lets go thru each one.
This group knows how to leverage words for practical purposes.
They are great at: Learning & creation.
Reading, listening words to interpret them.
Writing & saying words to help others interpret them.
After communicating for a long time, they develop strong problem solving skills as well
This group knows how to analyze their past & present to make more strategic decisions for the future.
A tamed ego & one not to run away from their flaws.
And the more they know themself, the better they set the stage to know others.
People who are good with people.
They have charisma, know how to make everyone feel heard & often make great leaders.
You don't have to worry about them ruining the chemistry of a team.
Often, you can count on them to fix it.
Strong cognitive skills as well as ability to problem solve.
They know the art of abstract thinking & learning the concepts very quickly.
Creative logical people can connect dots from different fields.
Great at analyzing ideas.
They know how to put feelings to the side to come to a rational decision, not an impulsive one.
The mind has an eye.
And this group knows how to use that eye.
They visualize & use their imagination to learn, plan for the future & introspect.
So rather than that imagination going unused and turning into anxiety.
They use it to create...
Athletes, dancers, fitness enthuses.
They take care of their body.
And they will be first to tell you that the body influences the mind.
And you'll often see they are very expressive with their bodies.
Musical geniuses.
Producers, freestylers, singers etc.
They view music in a different light than most people
Nothing too choppy or monotone.
But fluid & healthy.
The ears play a major role in their life.
This group knows how to survive in nature.
If you put the average person in nature without a phone, they will go in panic mode.
But not this group.
This group is born thru:
1. Self imposed.
2. No other choice
They are tired of the noisy digital world.
So they take a break, unplug & get tied back with nature.
-No other choice.
A lot of villages in 3rd world countries aren't caught up with the latest technology.
So they still need to hunt & fish for their food.
Or something you resonate with.
Who knows, it may be a calling
So measuring my intelligence based on test-taking scores is not a strategic move on my end.
I was always interested in writing & speaking.
So measuring myself with linguistics intelligence is more strategic.
'Really?? Example?'
Like the better you get at auditory intelligence (understanding music) the better you can have rhythm for kinesthetic intelligence (dancing).
The better you get at intrapersonal intelligence (knowing yourself) the better you get at interpersonal intelligence (knowing others).
1. Take a walk down memory lane & see where you currently stand in life.
2. Then ask yourself where you want to go.
Doing these 2 steps will help your subconscious mind answering the question/s for you
And never too late to become smarter than you thought possible.
But before you do that...
Make sure you are setting yourself up for the right marathon.
