Word is that when Dems move the Impeachment probe to Judiciary, Doug Collins (Ranking Minority member on HJ) will force procedural arguments with Nadler and fight when Dems try to bat them away. Marked diff from Nunes. Expect fireworks. #TuesdayThoughts
2-Collins is a fighter, & GOP believe that, unlike Schiff, Nadler can be knocked off kilter easily. Whereas Schiff spoke extemporaneously in complete sentences, Nadler-according to GOP research-tends to rely on notes. Jordan & Ratcliffe also on HJ. #TuesdayThoughts

Despite a massive increase in #FOIA litigation and the number of requests filed with DOJ the agency has not requested additional funding from Congress to deal with the uptick.
FBI has a dedicated team to respond to #FOIA requests and lawsuits pertaining to Mueller investigative documents.

Earlier this year, right after AG Barr released his memo characterizing Mueller's report, I started filing #FOIA requests for primary source documents that were used to draft the report as well as other underlying documents amassed by Mueller's probe

Then after Mueller's report was released, I filed dozens more #FOIA requests for additional documents. The footnotes in the report made clear that these primary source documents could further flesh out the narrative about 2016/obstruction.

I also wanted to gain access to the documents that would shed light on how Mueller came to issue the unprecedented statement about the story @a_cormier_ and I published about Cohen being directed to lie to Congress by Trump. So I filed another #FOIA request.

In response to my/@BuzzFeedNews FOIA lawsuit for every document Mueller's office collected during its probe, a DOJ atty made this extraordinary claim in court docs last night: THE APPROXIMATE NUMBER OF RESPONSIVE DOCS IS MORE THAN 19 BILLION PAGES

DOJ claims the FBI alone would have to process approximately 18 BILLION PAGES.

DOJ came up with this number by saying it would process records from 2300 media devices which have a combined storage capacity of 240 tb. If filled that's the equivalent of 18 BILLION pages.

While I have long dreamed about getting the govt to give me documents until long after I die this is ludicrous. We dispute DOJ's estimates.

DOJ is suggesting the number of responsive records Mueller collected is twice as large all records stored by the Library of Congress

1. It is important to remember Mueller acts as the Deep State Fix-It man. His worth to the DS is his ability to act as a wall between the facilitators, their nefarious actions, and the wheels of justice.
2. If cover, time and obstruction is what is needed Mueller is the man to do it. His use of disinformation, manipulation of the media, false testimony to Congress, and hiding evidence is well-documented.
