The email links to a video from someone claiming to have seen the "existence of a medical miracle for the deadliest cancers. This life-saving discovery was then denied to the American people… And would have remained locked away forever – except for one thing… I kept the file."
The ad also claims to show people cures for diabetes, dementia, and heart disease, among other illnesses.

All of this is ultimately a pitch for subscribing to a newsletter called Insiders’ Cures, which is part of the scammy Agora empire (motherjones.com/politics/2015/…).

Many "right wing" Indians have a sentimental attachment for certain countries - Russia, Japan, Germany

Despite the fact that we share so much more with the Anglosphere

There are several reasons for this

Firstly there is this real-politik - "enemy's enemy is my friend" mindset

So Britain was this big "enemy" for "nationalist" Indians in early 20th century. So this dislike extended to US - Britain's greatest ally

Countries like Germany, Japan had this romantic allure
First of all they were against Britain

Second, they had succeeded in becoming major powers without much recourse to the English language

Third, they were examples of "culturally rooted" countries - which had sort of done well, without "aping" British culture

One of the big challenges for Nigerians going into an internet-led future we do not control is understanding how to sift through information to detect falsehood and developing the emotional intelligence to recognise bad faith messaging disguised as "logic."
In other words, learning to understand the subtle difference between when the world is laughing *with* you and when it is laughing *at* you. We generally have a very basic sense of humour here, so we often conflate the two, thus making ourselves objects of global ridicule.
I went through the same struggle back in the day. Between 2008 and 2010, I got my news from Alex Jones/Prison Planet, David Icke and other conspiracy theorists. I believed Obama was the Antichrist and the "New World Order" was trying to plant slave microchips into every human.

One reason why so many people are suspicious of NK's denuclearization pledge is because the talks were largely conducted behind the scene by intelligence officers. But there has been an influx of both intel & what we may call PMC employees since Sept 2017.
Booze Allen started hiring in HumInt, SigInt, FISINT, IED, CI areas in SK in Sept and some positions required TS: SCI (Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information). Northrop Grumman also sought civilians to work for USFK on "contingent DoD contracts"
