My scientific record is easily returnable on Web of Science, where metrics such as my h-index will demonstrate the impact of my research.

I am not ashamed that I am struggling to my next funding deadline. I hope normal service will be resumed early next year :)
I am amazingly grateful to my colleagues, who have supported me during the first funding gap I've experienced in 15 years. They are ace.

Sorry, I should have spelled this out. Until this current funding gap, I was employed as a senior research fellow. This is the position my current funding application will (fingers crossed) restore to me :)
For clarity, because I didn't explain well: the numbers I stated are how the Medical Research Council rates research funding applications. 6 is the top mark available.
