Between 2014-2018, 68% of Saudi Arabia’s arms imports came from the US, according to @SIPRIorg. These arms sales fuel the #Yemen war and are repeatedly used to bomb Yemeni homes, schools, hospitals and Oxfam water projects. 3/7

Since the #FY19NDAA – which ended aerial refueling of Saudi/UAE coalition jets bombing #Yemen - Congress has repeatedly voted to end US complicity in the war. Yet President Trump has vetoed those bills. 4/7

An overwhelming majority of Americans agree Congress must end support to this war. Even after long bi-partisan support on this, the final #FY20NDAA does nothing meaningful for #Yemen. It calls for a jet refueling ban, but the US already stopped this in #FY19NDAA. 5/7

The #FY20NDAA asks for more ground reporting on civilian causalities but orgs like @MwatanaEn, @YemenData, and @ACLEDINFO have reported and even testified before Congress on civilian harm caused by ALL warring parties in #Yemen. 6/7

It is immoral & unacceptable that our lawmakers have failed the people of #Yemen in #FY20NDAA. We’ll continue to demand an end to US arms sales & push for a ceasefire & inclusive peace process for everyone in Yemen. Demand answers & keep fighting w/us! 7/7 oxf.am/2RFY8z0
