1/ Marketers have been mind-fu@ked by FB, Google & agencies. Let's say you pay $1/click. Who owns that data? Not you as the marketer...the media giant owns this click data even though you paid $1 for that click.
2/ FB/Google/Twitter KNOW who clicks to your site but will not tell the marketer. Worse, the MEDIA COMPANIES USE THAT CLICK DATA for your competitors!!
3/ And to add to the insanity, they PRETEND they will not give you this click information BECAUSE OF PRIVACY CONCERNS. And legislation is passed that satisfying faux privacy concerns. You think APPLE/GOOGLE/FACEBOOK care about privacy?
4/ Marketers have been bamboozled by consultants, agencies, trade publications and self-serving media giants.
5/ If a media company has the data for those that click to your site...and you pay for that click...marketers SHOULD get to know who clicked on the ad that they paid for. Why should the media giants be the only one using the data YOU PAID FOR? #MarketersAreSlaves
