Please accept my apologies for my inaccurate single sentence which does not convey the full history of daylight savings time. At the time, I thought that I could elide this for the purposes of comedic affect, but I see now that I was wrong.

...and thus will have existed in the Lady Astronaut universe, except for the fact that I smash a Meteor into Washington D.C. on March 3rd, 1952 at 9:53 am depending on your time zone and the local ordinances regarding observence of Daylight savings, since...
...for some people it might have been 10:53 and for others it might have been 9:23, because it turns out that time zones were weird and people might have been relieved of this confusion if not for the Meteor that deprived them of the Uniform Time Act.
