5) “Neoliberal” is an academic term that means different things to different ppl in different contexts. Shortening the term to plain ol’ “liberalism” is more accessible for the public

6) Corruption is a highly loaded term that is easily co-opted and often serves an inverse effect for fascistic ends more than it does for leftist idealism. Purge this from your vocabulary and simply say what you mean plainly and be straightforward with your message
7) SJW is an anti-intellectual, right wing contrarian dog whistle to create caricatures of anybody left of the Alt-right. It means absolutely nothing and never has, no matter what you may have thought 5 years ago at its height
8) “Identity Politics” has the same means and ends as SJW. Using it ironically is ineffective and only serves to divide the left rather than punch back even if used in good intentions (whatever that may mean to whomever this useless term comes from)
9) “Progressive” has always been a useless term in any time period. It is a self-serving word mostly co-opted by corporations and the corporate aligned to dodge accountability for serving constituents who need to be served in any context—be it electoral or activism
10) This a challenge mostly aimed at socialists, anarchists, communists, & media figures who discuss any area of politics, culture, etc. If you can’t explain yourself simply in the vernacular & are stuck in the 20th century, then your message is useless to most who need it
