2) My grandchildren recently asked me why the bad people hurting and killing others were not in jail so they couldn't hurt more people. Sometimes, children are wiser than adults in their simplicity. I couldn't answer their question.
3) Right and wrong has been so twisted and muddied by corrupted politicians that we have lost our way. No matter who they are or where they come from, if anyone comes into our home & hurts people it should be stopped and the entire nation should stand in solidarity to stop it.
4) There is nothing humane about taking the suffering from one person & transferring it to another. Millions of families have lost loved ones due to the border. Securing it shouldn't even be a question in anyone's mind. This isn't about politics it's about protecting our children
5) The next time you hear someone say we don't need the wall, push back remind them of the millions of children in our country permanently separated from their parents due to the porous borders & failures of our leadership to enact immigration reform. Our children come first.
6) It's time that we as a nation acknowledge that the cartel presence in this country and their drugs are the biggest problem in the Opioid Epidemic and have lead to homelessness, neglected and orphaned children, unnecessary community destruction and unprecedented loss of life
7) This is the silent war that's been taking place for generations now blown into full proportions. It is chemical warfare & nothing less. If any other event lead to the deaths of 50,000 Americans from a single source the nation would be standing as one. Why aren't they now?
8) The rising drug culture in this country being packaged & sold to our children through media, entertainment & music concerts set up specifically to encourage & promote drug use bombard our children daily. With cartel drugs so easily accessible our children don't stand a chance.
9) Cable television glamorizes cartel lifestyles through programs like Cartel Kids normalizing and even promoting these drug lifestyles. Their recent addition of El Chapo's wife, a mass murderer who has caused more suffering to humanity than any other single source is celebrated
10) Our first priority above all else is to protect our children and we need to stand up and declare in one voice that we aren't going to allow these moral atrocities to continue a second longer. Our children deserve better and we need to start acting like it.
