I really like the idea of USB C. But I find it is much less reliable connection than older, bigger USB 3 on my laptop, especially when I use C to connect a hub for various peripherals. I don't think UBC C connection is sturdy enough for the intense use it has to get on a laptop
And this is a major flaw for the future. As laptops are moving, like cellphones have, to USB Cs. These USB Cs are just too fragile for the constant use necessary when this is both your charger input and link to mouse, keyboard, etc.
I am reallly surprised that laptop makers have embraced these--your computer is useless if the charger/peripheral link does not work. This needs to be addressed.
Yes, usb c thunderbolt is a marvel, with its data speed and power supply. But it is useless if you devices will not stay connected.
