Oh God. What have I done? Was about to book tickets for a gig and the conditions at the very end of the process said: “Minimum age 14”. I’m about 9 times older than that. It’s closer to my kid’s age than it is to mine and he’s in reception.
Still booked the tickets though so please, everyone, come with. I’d rather be one of many sore thumbs rather than one of a few. I refuse to acknowledge that socialising these days should be restricted to inviting people round for Ticket To Ride and a nice Merlot.
They want to see ID when I pick up the tickets. Perhaps I’ll use my paper driving license and RoA. I’ll still be allowed to go, right, once they see my date of birth? I’ve never had a fake ID before. Perhaps I need one now. The minimum age is explicit; the maximum age is implied.

Well, Canada, you heard it from @jkenney. We should focus on industrial GHGs, and Canada's GHG emissions inventory tells us that about 50% of those are in Alberta. I guess meeting our targets really is Alberta's responsibility. How should the federal govt make sure that happens?
Let's just imagine for one second @JustinTrudeau adopting @jkenney's view and placing a hard, declining cap on large industrial emissions sufficient to meet Canada's targets (the ones we adopted while @jkenney was in cabinet). If he did that, our Premier's head would explode.
Here's where large industrial emissions occur in Canada. More than 50% of them are in Alberta. Every other province has a larger share of their emissions coming from activities that Alberta's premier suggests we should leave alone whole focussing in reducing industrial GHGs.

Same as we see with flight travel data.

That's what economic prosperity means. It means giving more and connecting more. It matters.

Of course not. I'm a convert from Catholic to Protestant, and I believe in the calling and frugality.

But of course it also means the difference between getting home for Christmas and keeping those traditions. I believe in frugality AND practicality.
@Rasmussen_Poll So, whether you're Catholic, Protestant, Baptist, etc, economic prosperity helps you to live by The Way.

The goal of course is to get to a place where you can help your fellow man (or woman). That's the entire point, folks.

Care for each other and no Bernie need care for you.

10 years or so I became obsessed with learning about the Holocaust and WW2.
I learned some things:

1. Despite what you think you know about the Holocaust, there is always something more horrific that you haven’t, worse than a Hollywood Horror films.
2. A lot of people don’t want to hear about the Holocaust, read about or even learn about the Holocaust, because it’s not a comfortable topic. Subsequently, I have also learned that these people are also more likely to turn a blind to the modern days horrors we see here.

I was nominated for 4 awards. I didn’t nominate myself for any of these awards although you can nominate yourself. Nominations for Alpha and Industry Ambassador really took me by surprise. I didn’t win.
I’m not bitter in the least.
It’s really true what they say. It’s an honour that someone nominated me. I feel touched that whoever did thought I deserve some recognition. That was very nice of you whoever you are, thank you.
I had fun that night, many people there did.
