To say a little more: this is the best of human-AI partnership. Optoro's algorithms can only reasonably know so much about the value of inventory being classified and graded at warehouses.
Often it makes more sense to just group things together and let normal market arbitrage take over. BUT:
That arbitrage is classically handled by large wholesalers, who due to their scale can introduce inefficiencies into the market.
BULQ allowed us to fix that inefficiency AND also create a more predictable, higher quality inventory stream for small processors (individuals and small businesses!)

Optoro can understand that something is an auto part, but perhaps not the best way to get value back for that particular widget. So Optoro's algorithm groups it into a BULQ case of auto parts.
A laid-off factory worker finds that case of auto parts on BULQ for ~$250. They can afford to purchase it, and then they use their knowledge to fix the broken parts, clean up the dirty ones, and find the right price for everything on eBay or Amazon or wherever
Rinse and repeat - that's a new micro business typically turning 2-3x return on each case. It's a win for everyone involved - those parts needed a home, and this person is finding the right home faster.
BULQ provides that opportunity in so many categories - I know stories of people doing this in auto parts, kids clothes, toys, media, etc.
