Anonymous gov sources keep making this claim without providing any details or evidence of breach. “Of particular concern is the Russians’ hacking of three companies that provide states with [epollbooks].” nytimes.com/2020/01/10/us/…
The NYTimes story names VR Systems as one of three companies hacked, but as I pointed out in this story published last month, the gov has refused to back up this claim, and has not told VR Systems that it was hacked politico.com/news/magazine/…
Without proof/details, VR Systems has to unfairly defend itself to journos over a hack it wasn’t told occurred, its election customers are not provided w/ info they need to make informed decisions for 2020 election, and the public is kept in the dark about what occurred in 2016.
