@JackPosobiec 1) I'm lifetime teetotaler. Parents were alcoholics who'd get bombed on multiple martinis every night before we sat down to the dinner table, at which my dad would invariably unleash hell. It would've been enough to drive my mother insane, even if she hadn't been touched already.
@JackPosobiec 2) Both elder brothers followed down that dark path. The eldest also became a coke addict and mule who sexually abused his daughter from age 3. The other is a serial philander and wife beater. I've lost count of their number of failed marriages & shack ups.
@JackPosobiec 3) I divorced myself from my family of origin 20 years ago. After a botched surgery left me with incurable Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy, my eldest brother called out of the blue one night to tell me what my father said when he heard the news:
"Good. Now Ron's gettin' his."
"Good. Now Ron's gettin' his."
