@tonyiommi 1) I became a RUSH fan when I first heard "Finding My Way," but when "Fly By Night" introduced us to Neil Peart, it was as though the world stopped spinning on its axis. Neil grabbed our attention, & held it. For more 40 years, he never ceased to challenge our ears & intellect.
@tonyiommi 2) My kids became RUSH fans while still in the womb: Before he entered kindergarten, my son Brian could READ the title of each RUSH album in release order, and every song on each album in running order.
@tonyiommi 3) Neil inspired Brian to excel as a career drummer/percussionist whose own boundary-stretching work composing and producing music today erases the line between analog and electronic instrumentation. Thank you, Neil, for planting and nurturing that seed in your Garden.
