they hire a white woman (Carol Burris) out of retirement from a white school district to work with a white male (Jeff Bryant) for-profit communications consultant who writes “reports” and articles and blog posts and ghostwritten campaign documents and talking points that...

are shared by a white woman (Valerie Strauss) with private school kids (Georgetown Day school) who has a permanent space in the Washington Post (owned by a billionaire btw). Then...

Their propaganda gets widespread uncritical support from education reporters who are 80% white and mostly women who identify more with all those named above than the kids is failing schools, then...

Then, a racially redundant national online network of white female teachers and highly engaged white moms take to twitter to shout down people of color who are parents of kids in the margins, and they discount these POC with a series of tired tropes like....

Sellouts, servants, pimps, prostitutes, and autonotoms created by wealthy white masters because, of course, we aren’t intelligent and capable of pragmatic and sequential thought. I actually had a white woman on Nashville’s school board call me a “paid whore.”

This is 2020.

And let’s not forget the white male paleoliberals in academia who join Twitter militias who come like night riders rounding up wayward POC who voice any critique of America’s racist ass school system. These dudes voted for Obama so surely they can’t be racist.

Except, they are.

Now, does it make sense that this network of phony, privileged, private schooling jackasses would accuse POC in education deserts of being “privatizers?”

As they hide their kids in the safe harbor of magnet, suburban, private, and carefully zoned “public” schools?
