I'm 100% against violence, so I think it should *only* be a member of Sen. Perdue's immediate family who loves him very much who should slap him in the face at embarrassing himself, his family, and his constituents with this *asinine* response to a historically important question
PS/ You *have* to understand that Perdue is *lying* here, and *knows* that he's lying. This is firsthand eye- and ear-witness evidence (plus authenticated documentary evidence!) from a man, Lev Parnas, who directly advised Trump in multiple face-to-face meetings. Shame on Perdue.
PS2/ Moreover, the senator knows damn well that in a high percentage of U.S. trials many of the witnesses are individuals who themselves have been accused of wrongdoing. In such situations our justice system requires live testimony so jurors can make an assessment of credibility.
PS3/ There is no convention of journalism or polite behavior that prohibits Todd from telling the senator he's either lying about his understanding of how evidence and trials work or he needs to be publicly educated on live TV that what he is saying is an *absolute nonsense*.
PS4/ What Perdue does in this interview is so embarrassing/dishonest that as a journalist you have to be prepared to say things that may result in the "guest" never coming on your show again. You have to go at them fast, hard, and transparently until they speak like a real human.
