When first supporting Tulsi in this election, I noticed some peculiar attacks aside from the gross MSM lies. She was being called a fascist, supporter of some KKK in India called the RSS, some fascist government called the BJP & a dictator named Modi.
When first supporting Tulsi in this election, I noticed some peculiar attacks aside from the gross MSM lies. She was being called a fascist, supporter of some KKK in India called the RSS, some fascist government called the BJP & a dictator named Modi.
My knowledge on India was limited to ancient architecture and the incredible temples built by that ancient civilization of Hindus, Buddhist, Jains, Sikhs & others in the heart of South Asia, what I would call Dharma civilization but not sure if that’s right.
Initial propaganda was easy to figure, @TulsiGabbard's anti-war, anti corruption. She's going to reform the govt & parties & bring them back to service of the people. Taking the power away from the elite/corporations & MIC & returning it to the people so they try to stop her.
But these India smears. In my mind I was like, how could this possibly be. I'd watched so many videos on her YouTube channel. I knew I'd discovered a once in a lifetime Presidential candidate. One that could turn the course of not only America, but the world on the right path.
The propaganda almost chased my support away, but something just didn’t feel right. I did the normal, responsible thing, I looked at the sources of the attacks. What articles were they using to support their attack. Was it true. Who was attacking her. From that it became clear
These attacks were absolutely nothing about @TulsiGabbard & who she is as a person, not how she performed in the Military or Congress in service to the people of this country or her ability to lead this country. They were everything to do with her Hindu faith.
Please pay attention to the sources of the media you read. This religious bigotry is real, it's deep seated, & it's been happening for a very long time. America has to be better than this. We cant allow religious bigotry to enter our politics like it has in this election & others
If you’re like me, once you figure out that Tulsi has no connection to India, that you’ve been listening to propaganda being lodged only because of someones religious faith and the articles were being written by religious bigots, you’d dig further.
If you get really curious, take the time to study India and South Asia. Study the history of Kashmir but make sure you get your information from a reputable source as there’s lots of propaganda. Once you do this, you will see the truth and discover how much they are lying to you.
As a final note, really think about it. There have been many ancient civilizations & religions on earth. Hinduism & these other Dharmic faiths centered in South Asia represent some of the last of those truly ancient cultures who’s traditions and faith have survived the millennia
Through war & religious conversion, the other ancient civilizations and their religions have all but vanished, temples destroyed. Parts of our human history lost, never to be fully recovered. We can only guess at their lives, their culture, who they really were.
It’s time for us to finally evolve to the point where we can end religious intolerance, whatever your faith. We cannot afford to loose anymore of our human story to the attocities of war and intolerance. Let us all, each and every one of us, be the people who bring forth peace.
