This really speaks to the problem of what the constructive legacy of the populist rebellion will be. After the Tower of Babel comes down, what does the city do? Leo seems to suggest that we act in our spheres using networks as tools instead of being its slaves.
We haven't gotten there yet but as a first order approximation of where we want to go, returning the action to subsidiarity is not a bad idea.
