On January 25th, 1998, 23 Kashmiri Pandits were massacred by Islamist terrorists just about this time in the Wandhama village of Ganderbal in Central Kashmir. 22 years later Naveen Pandita visits the village to interact with a local elderly Kashmiri Muslim showing haunted houses.
The local old man walks towards each Kashmiri Pandit house and narrates the story of the killing each occupant. What terrifies you is the haunting desecrated houses of the Kashmiri Pandits who were killed in the barbaric planned terror attack by terrorist group Hizbul Mujahideen.
Little KP children were killed in Wandhama. Local Muslim Children now play cricket in the ground in-between these houses of Kashmiri Pandits who were killed, unaware of the exiled Pandits. Children however say, we hear Pandits were nice people, they never ever did anything wrong.
'There is emptiness all around. A sense of doom. God is witness.', the old man says while walking around the houses of Kashmiri Pandits who were killed in Wandhama. He talks about the weddings where they used to have a feast and the Shivratri (Herath) where Pandits gave walnuts.
