One thing I’ve learned about journalism is that if you press a politician about his potentially shady dealings in a foreign country your questions don’t count if you fail a geography quiz afterwards.*
* Yes Pompeo is a liar generally and he’s almost certainly lying about everything in his statement, but even if Kelly had pointed at Alaska, his behavior is embarrassing and ridiculous and unworthy of his high position.
I think Pompeo is so dumb that if he played Rick Perry at checkers the game would end with both of them trapped inside a goldfish bowl, but that’s just me.
