@ted_bundist in early 2016 when I started my channel and was a /leftypol/ regular I hung out on an irc channel for the board (which yielded some of the biggest living memes that still persist on twitter today), and on this channel was Rebel Absurdity, who had also just started their channel
@ted_bundist so both of us together were like the two meme lefttubers that represented /leftypol/'s anti-idpol leftist positions and shit (it really was a long time ago), and for a while we were friends and they in particular were becoming quite popular with people
@ted_bundist until eventually we had a falling out over some of the dumbest shit that'd be a whole other set of tweets to explain, and around that same time rebel became more and more, I guess pseud in their positions and *really* leaned into this kirekeguaard thing, as
@ted_bundist that was their lefttube avatar. So much so they became religious over it, but again without really understanding Kierkegaard that well, but in all fairness they were like what, 19? so was I at the time and I was just as cringe just in other ways

@ted_bundist at the time rebel was male identifying, although eventually some selfies they had taken in girls clothes got leaked to /leftypol/, followed by them taking down their channel, their twitter, disappearing from the irc etc, to eventually resurface as the legend known as nasu.
@ted_bundist Nasu's still around today, I think, but the key things to know are they're a self proclaimed fascist and trans girl who voluntarily goes to parks at night to try and get raped (I'm seriously not kidding), while maintaining christian fundamentalism.
@ted_bundist to this day no one's really sure how they went so strikingly from promising lefttuber to...well, nasu.
