first issue i ever changed my mind on was animal testing. was like 13, met a guy who was part of a pro animal testing group and the idea of that was so profoundly strange i had to ask him about it. he made a pretty good case + it may have started my obsession w analyzing beliefs
he was from england. wonder what he is doing now. he was mostly into it because there was so much anti animal testing protesting on his campus. i suspect he enjoyed the IRL trolling but he was serious about it. way ahead of the curve, thank u based english guy
was raised in a place where i was told anyone against abortion was just completely insane. realizing that wasnt the case later on was huge. didnt even become anti abortion at that time but just seeing it wasnt “sanity vs total idiot lunatics” really started my worldview shift
