the problem in Iowa is pretty clearly mutifactorial, but I think the biggest prob is the calculations are based on the original # of people who showed, not proportion of final totals.

this is exacerbated by folks who are recent converts (or bad actors from the safe GOP side) interfering.
problem is, if this is the case, the firat round of results will be skewed towards where Bernie and others were viable... and the results released later will be skewed against.
