This is an important piece from @joanwalsh and something we've seen far too often during this campaign: the erasure of the women running. @ewarren placed a strong third in Iowa and is being left out of the conversation.

It's the same with @amyklobuchar, who went from single digits last month to coming close to a former VP who has run twice before. After more than a year of campaigning, these women are being dropped from the conversation after just one state.
Let's put aside that these women are still facing ridiculous narratives around electability or pundits like Donny Deutsch who somehow gets to declare someone unlikeable or strident and not notice or understand the sexism in that statement.
Instead, we are hearing more about a candidate who has not even been on the ballot yet than two who won over voters and continue to do so. They have built strong campaigns, made powerful cases and are winning over voters across the country.
Instead of letting the pundits and media decide who is still in the race, what if we talk about the field as it actually is --including women? And just maybe, what if we let the voters decide? After all, let's let the best woman win.
