Looking for examples ....

* Not work related
* You improved at something
* improvement involved an “irrational” practice
* felt disconcerting (at first)
* near term seemed stubborn/Not efficient
* w/practice and repetition
* ..turned out for the better

Any thoughts appreciated.
One that I can think of

There’s an app called Flowstate that “forces” you to write (otherwise your writing gets deleted)

I “forced” myself to use it for >5m a day and I think it improved my writing.
Another example ... I did this drawing challenge
link.medium.com/kS5uyM7bU3

You can see the shift in the drawings as I progress.
