The bpas Finsbury Park clinic this morning. No problems with anti-abortion groups before and now there are 45 protesters outside. This is a direct result of @ukhomeoffice’s refusal to take action - giving the impression that harassing women outside clinics is acceptable. #BackOff

Activities we've seen today:
- shouting at women that they 'love them'
- stopping women as they leave the clinic
- approaching women repeatedly as they try to walk away
- following women
- accosting passers-by with small children
- pushing leaflets through car windows

The protesters’ own advert said that they would be leaving at 10.45 this morning, but there’s no sign of that yet. They have, however, started kneeling and taken a photograph of a local resident who opposes their presence entering her house. #BackOff

Thank you to everyone offering support today. To maintain as calm an atmosphere as possible outside our clinics, we do not encourage counter-protests. We continue to believe that the best action you can take is to campaign for buffer zones - both national and local. #BackOff

These are the leaflets handed to unsuspecting women on Saturday in Finsbury Park. Pretty standard. Note:
- the letter addressed to 'mum'
- the many false medical claims, including that abortion causes breast cancer
- the frankly disgusting (false) claims around suicide #BackOff
