.@POTUS is calling on Congress to pass the #EducationFreedom Scholarships proposal. EFS creates a $5 billion annual tax credit for donations to state-based, locally-controlled scholarships and will help more than 1 million students across the country find their fit. 3/8 
Our budget request empowers States to best meet the needs of students by consolidating nearly all Federal K-12 grant programs into one block grant program called the Elementary and Secondary Education for the Disadvantaged Block Grant. 4/8
$900 million in #CTE funding to support this Administration’s goal of ensuring every high school student can pursue programs that provide multiple, high-quality pathways to success. 5/8
The budget proposes continued modernization of all aspects of Federal Student Aid including a call for an evaluation of FSA as a separate organization with reformed governance, continued Next Gen reforms, and simplified loan and repayment programs. 6/8
$14 billion in funding for IDEA programs, which is a $100 million increase from what Congress allocated for 2020. 7/8
This budget request allows States the freedom to focus on people, not paperwork. Results, not regulations. We know States will spend their money differently, and that’s okay. In fact, that’s what we hope they do. They know best how to serve their students. 8/8
