how to plan out your goals using google keep
#30DaysofThreads @30daysofthreads

this will be a fairly short + to the point thread. let's be honest, 2020 hasn't started off on the right foot so now's the time to get back on track before march gets here.
will be doing other threads around using google keep cause I love it that much. if you use gmail, google keep is already a part of your google apps when you create an account. best way to describe google keep, it's google's version of evernote.
you can jot down notes (which you can add to a google doc), create checklists, upload photos & collaborate [share] them with anybody who has a gmail account. here's what my google keep looks like. I have checklists that I color code & assign to a label.
I outlined all my goals on paper at first. I decided to keep my goal categories simple + narrowed it down to 3 [business/career, lifestyle, finance]. simple + to the point.
I added an "annual goals [2020]" label to google keep, created an action plan checklist for each goal, then categorized it under this label. I also color coded each checklist:
business/career - pink
finance - blue
lifestyle - purpose
two of my business/career goals that I outlined an action plan for are based on the 30 days of threads others have published on here. utilize those threads, it'll make outlining an action plan sooooo much easier. you can make adjustments as needed, but use them as a foundation.
example: my goal to earn a PMP certification is based on @NerdNomadMom's thread on project mgmt. you can read her PM thread here:
another example: my goal to get into doing speaking engagements was based on @TirzahMonee's thread on how to secure them. you can see her thread here:
make sure to add a recurring reminder to your calendar to check in on the progress of your goals/action plan + checking off what you've completed. add your action items to your planner or whatever you use to keep track of your to do list.
this method I feel will work best for me bc I've tried the 101 things in 1001 days list twice + didn't go through with it. also did a bunch of goal categories, figured it was too much which is why I narrowed it down. & that's it!
if you felt this thread was beneficial to you, send your girl $ so I can binge out on venti iced coffees from starbucks.
