With Roger Stone in the news, it's worth remembering that he was the guy who brokered the deal for Donald Trump to have a friendly interview with Alex Jones in the early stages of his run for the GOP nomination. 
He's also a veteran Republican lobbyist who, along with his pal Paul Manafort, was one of the most corrupt (if not illegal) right wing political actors who literally built what became known as "the swamp" in the 1970s and 1980s. thedailybeast.com/top-trump-aide…
This is just one of the conspiracy theories he's promoted. This was in the summer of 2018 before the midterms. He's very useful to Trump in his effort to undermine public trust in the legitimacy of the American electoral system, esp. MAGA trust in the event that Trump loses.
When I think of Roger, I picture him getting a drink in a bar in my hometown, flashing the white power hand symbol with a group of Proud Boys after having given the keynote address to the Oregon GOP convention in 2018.
There was also this great moment when he spoke an event honoring the Malheur-occupying Bundies and called for his friend, President Trump, to pardon domestic terrorist, Cliven Bundy.

Stone also was a player in the Brooks Brothers riot in 2000 that ratf*cked the Florida election for Bush, and he also proudly wears a Nixon tattoo on his back. Such a happy warrior he is.
