A former U.S. Attorney tells me this departure of career prosecutors from the Roger Stone case is the kind of move that only happens when there's a "moral" objection to interference.
Note that Jessie Lui -- who Pres. Trump pulled as DOJ's US Attorney for DC "for" a Treasury Dept. job that did not materialize, because the admin cancelled it tonight -- was also one of the *only* prosecutors he personally interviewed before hiring.
Trump has long shown a personal interest in vetting and controlling the federal prosecutors that have any jurisdiction over him and his interests -- hence interviewing candidates for NY and DC, but not dozens of other US Attorneys around the nation.
