Strap yourselves in for some remarkable and just really odd Turkish propaganda.

The President’s son-in-law and Finance Minister has gotten into a fight with Fenerbahçe over football and now the TV channel run by his brother is out to make a point.

This is amazing.
Some background. Albayrak supports Trabzonspor (as curiously do many Ministers in Turkey) and allegedly even had a role in getting a Trabzon manager sacked after a heated argument.

Refereeing decisions this year have been controversial to say the least and suspicions are up.
Fenerbahçe, and Chairman Ali Koç, have been very vocal at what they see as undue influence in sport and after some truly curious refereeing decisions, fans recently chanted against Albayrak at a match.

Fans of other teams are clearly not happy either - it's been an odd season.
So far, so Turkish football.

But this video indicates that the government is shaping up for a fight that is pretty big. Fenerbahçe have perhaps 20 million supporters. Calling them “the team of the rich” is risky.

And that report on AHaber doesn't go out without permission.
All that aside, and without going into the weeds of this specific fight, I thought you might enjoy the subtitles because this is what people in Turkey are subjected to daily.

The words, the tone, the music, everything...

Just weird and surreal - welcome to New Turkey!
By the way, I made up “Gezi-ers” and it should be pronounced Geezers because that makes us sound cool.

Almost as proud of that as I was of Bayburtians (very old joke from years back).
