This tweet is starting to go viral and it's very misleading for a couple of reasons. THREAD.
First off, I toured the El Paso Sector and if you clicked on the story, you'll see the camouflage ladders that are being used to climb over are climbing over fencing that was built starting in 2006. It's basically glorified chicken wire. It's not the wall being built under Trump. 
The new model of wall that was built in El Paso is on the left side and the 2006 model is built on the right. Very different and hard to imagine them using the camouflage ladder on the new wall. The EPS has both but, from what I saw, most of the fencing is from 2006.
This is why the new model of wall was built in El Paso and San Diego. It takes a lot longer to cut through and it is harder to climb over.

Now for the video in the tweet. It's wasn't taken in El Paso, it was taken in California. CBP agents told me they know a wall won't stop all crossings, BUT it gives them much needed time to respond, as the video shows.
I saw firsthand how NOT having a wall makes it much more difficult in stopping illegal crossings in the Laredo Sector. The Rio Grande River is the only physical barrier there. The trees in the background are in Mexico in the first pic. The second pic shows Mexican cartel scouts.
Laredo Sector agents told me they would love to have a wall bc they know it would work. How do they know? Bc Laredo Community College, which is close the border, built its own private fencing and they saw a major decrease in border crossers walking through
