Simply put, Barr wants U.S. families to flush their hard-earned tax dollars down the toilet to prop up failed policies Barr clings to like a child because he stopped having *any new ideas* over a half-century ago. Barr's vision costs more and is less safe. nbcnews.com/politics/justi…
PS/ Criminal justice reform is about saving money, reducing crime, and honoring citizens' rights. Barr's rhetoric opposing systemic reform is as stale as his taste in music—which I can only imagine is best summarized as low-end 1930s jug band. Reformers, don't give him an *inch*.
PS2/ Worse still, Barr is *spitting in the face of police*—who when alone in a room will readily admit they're nickel-and-diming ultra-low-level offenders (or even non-offenders) to keep their numbers up and look tough. But it wastes time and money and resources and they know it.
PS3/ Barr's been clueless about criminal justice his whole career—and it's hard to imagine a more pathetic, weak quality in an Attorney General. The only thing he's ever been good at (or known anything about) is licking the boots of his superiors. He knows nothing about policing.
