Ahead of tomorrow’s publication of DARK TOWERS, I thought I’d share a few small items.

Here’s a view of life inside @DeutscheBank, with an entrepreneurial shoeshine guy and an investment banker getting kickbacks.
Here we have top Wall Street bankers going to very creative lengths to avoid lending money to @realDonaldTrump.
Deutsche Bank has had some Russian money laundering problems. Compliance officers knew. The Fed knew. The problems continued.

Today, on MLK day, thousands of white guys dressed up and armed themselves like they're on patrol in Iraq or Afghanistan, only they're in Richmond, Virginia. Most of them support the President who claims he wants to bring all of our soldiers home, so they can do this?
The images from today's rally should make it clear what gun rights mean to these folks. These are not people armed to defend themselves against a home invader. These are people who are drilling for armed combat, in their own country.
Just to fully spell out the logic here...training for armed combat in your own country means that you are preparing for the time when you will have to shoot at your fellow citizens, including people legally authorized to enforce the laws.

@vgr 2) Trump Derangement Syndrome is a real thing, but it's a subset of Generalized Political Derangement Syndrome, which affects both left and right to different degrees.

Chanyeol finishes work one evening.
He glances at his watch. 8:30pm. He has some time to spare to kill before he goes home.

He starts walking, his mind wandering back to this person name byun who was his first love and his biggest heart ache.
The night was cold and the taller tries to find some warmth from his coat. His face mask was drawn down to his chin so he could take a deep breathe and release a misty air.

He had a long day. Its been like this every day as well for past few years.
Sometimes Chanyeol wants to quit. He wonders if producing music is really what he wants to do for remainder of his life when the industry has become more demanding. He doesn't remember the last time he had a proper sleep, or the last time he was able to do things so freely.
