First couple minutes: Sanders goes after Bloomberg on "stop and frisk" and says it'll hurt Democratic turnout... rails against the "billionaire class." Warren raises her hand, jumps in. But Bloomberg gets to respond first, hits Sanders on Medicare for All.

Here comes Warren...
Warren, who has slid in the polls, warns Democrats against getting behind an "arrogant billionaire." Throwing political punches early in Vegas. Makes sharp case against Bloomberg.
Biden talking up his electability, says Bloomberg didn't manage NYC well, re: "stop and frisk."

Now Buttigieg, with a knock on both Sanders and Bloomberg: "Let's put forward someone who's actually a Democrat."

-Biden’s message in SC
He left NH. What now? Who is he taking on? What’s the msg?

-Buttigieg’s total vs. Klobuchar’s
If she does better than expected, do centrist voters nationally recalibrate?

-Sanders’s turnout: mostly young or older Ds rallying, too?
-Warren’s msg. What’s the pitch now for SC/Super Tu? Can she make gains on left without taking on Sanders directly?

-Buttigieg’s msg. Bloomberg looms & Klobuchar has been tough on his “newcomer” status. Is the push now to counter that experience critique or consolidate center?
-Andrew Yang. Has built a national movement that supports UBI. What does he want to do with it, esp if path to nom narrows?

-Bloomberg advertising and msg on Wednesday. His political and data teams watch it all. Stick with bio spots or make sharper contrasts as Super Tu nears?

Breaking: Senator Feinstein tells me this morning that she will back Senator Manchin’s censure proposal, adding a second name to the list. Says she’s in touch with Manchin. No word on her final vote on both impeachment articles.
“Yes,” she said when asked if she backs censure and Manchin’s proposal.

Said she was going to write her own resolution “but he beat me to it.”

Does not think it will be privileged/ able to force a vote on the measure.

“That’s sort of the downside at this point,” she said.
Feinstein has signaled she’s likely to vote for removal from office, h/t @GarrettHaake

A few things I noticed covering Sanders for a wk in Iowa: big emphasis on health care costs & connecting with voter rage on that front, sparse talk of “revolution” compared to when he ran in 2016, and almost no talk of “Democratic socialism.” Little talk of his bio, even Trump...
Begins speeches by calling Trump a liar, then pivots to health care, as if he is chking the Trump box. His team sees Biden as the foil, which is why Sanders routinely counters the electability critique by claiming he would rally millions and others wouldn’t generate same energy.

Bernie Sanders came out swinging, calling "stop and frisk" outrageous. But fell short of calling it racist like he has been calling it on the campaign trail.

He pivots back to his normal pitch, which ended a bit weak.

Bloomberg says "there's no chance he can beat Donald Trump."
Elizabeth Warren jumps in and really takes a big swing at Bloomberg. Calls his policies "racist" and brings up demeaning comments about women.

She's doing what she needs to do so far. Bernie buckled as usual. He does that a lot.
Amy Klobuchar's words are great. But her delivery is weak. She's running out of breath and sounds nervous and under pressure.

Solid comments. Poor delivery.

#ElizabethWarren's bill reminds me of Romney's advice to youths in 4/2012, "Borrow money, if you have to, from your parents. Start a business... [Jimmy John Liautaud] borrowed $20K from his dad..."

The loan was c. 7/82 and was actually $25K.
